Draw the World with A Camera March into the Distant with Paladin of Zhengzhou Nissan

Kong Xiaoning is a person with camera lens and car wheels as company. Every once in a while, he will disappear from the vision of his friends. When calling him, his cell phone is often powered off or out of signal. He must has gone to somewhere on his car. For parties organized by friends, he will probably be absent. However, once he is there, he must be the focus because what he shares with everyone is the endless information he has seen or heard.

The ride of Xiaoning is a Zhengzhou Nissan Paladin. The reason why he chose it is that he needs a vehicle which could bring him to places ordinary people can not trend upon and then bring him back again. Performance gives birth to trust which in turn nurtures a particular affection. For his beloved ride, Xiaoning often names it as his “second lover” with smiles. “Taking photographs is my second profession while vehicle is my second lover and I love the feeling of going out with ‘her’ and feel life and note scenery during the journey at the same time.” Being far away from highways and crowds, being accompanied by extreme states with waiting and insisting is a state he can reach. A state never fails his Paladin as well.

On one occasion, during traveling to Yunnan, Xiaoning did something meaningful just as every time when he went out--helped establish “love closet”. He donated a batch of jackets to students in Bingzhongluo primary school in Nujiang, Yunnan. All the students were very fond of the big friend from afar and the big guy beside him-- the Paladin and came to size up them. The huge loading capacity carried presents for each child, which made sweet smiles blossom on every of the chapped face. Taking out the camera, smiling faces of Xiaoning and the children as well as the Paladin which worked hard and achieved valuable service were freeze-framed into memory... furthermore, the photo makes Xiaoning committe to the cause of endeavoring for public welfare.

What the photo retains is hope which in turn generates power. Xiaoning said that there are three sources to his strength: the belief in pursuing beautifulness, Paladin with extraordinary performance and a group of friends with compatible characters. Most of the friends are riders of Paladin who are all with real characters. It is Paladin that unites them together. Being masculine, tough and strong can be considered as the three aspects of Paladin character. Being masculine refers to the appearance, being tough refers to the performance and being strong refers to the quality. Qualities of people and vehicles justify and represent each other.

Even though Xiaoning likes traveling and also has a variety of other hobbies, his job is about manual steel engraving in a design office with a note printing company. He says he enjoys the job because he could acquire an acute insight into details from the job. Detail is also one of the reasons why he is so attached to Paladin. Paladin is a vehicle oriented for some details. Every single of its components are highly refined and perfect with assembling being terrifically exquisite. In his spare time, he looks forward to some surprises which could enable him to play and relax himself to his heart’s content. Therefore, he spent many of the days with Paladin traveling around the world. It is better to say that Paladin helps him select a splendid path than that he selects Paladin.  

In Xiaoning’s words, Paladin brings him vision, which expands imagination endowing the lens with expressive force. He enjoys the process in which material things are sublimed to be spiritual. He can not help picking up his camera and marching into the distant places together with Paladin, and will never cease.
