In April 2013, a news from Shanghai International Auto Show excited Chinese Auto fans----Zhengzhou Nissan launched “China Cross-country Rally” and was about to recruit racers and navigators from Chinese users and auto sports fans for 2013 the First Zhengzhou Nissan Cross-country Rally. “The swallows from distinguished families fly into ordinary families”. Zhengzhou Nissan gathered a hundred of candidates within such a short time thanks to its three-year race holding experience in Dakar and across the orient, its brand inspiration of specialized four-wheel drive manufacturer and longing of Chinese SUV owners and cross-country racers for cross-country excitement. The call of Zhengzhou Nissan kindled the inner desire of those cross-country enthusiasts and ignited their pursuit for their cross-country dream.

As the initiator of this activity, Zhengzhou Nissan will sift out candidates through professional evaluation means. The final competitors will sign a contract with the race to represent Zhengzhou Nissan fur-wheel driven vehicle to join in the race. After the deadline, May 30th, Zhengzhou Nissan will organize members of the previous Dakar Rally Race to kick off the first round of sifting through reviewing applicants’ resume. Those who passed the first round selection will sit an online test on June 2nd to receive an all-round quality test. The top thirty candidates will come to the headquarters of Zhengzhou Nissan to receive an interview on June 5th to 7th. The interview will center on physique test, field driving test, psychological test, communication awareness, emergency response and repair and navigation coordination. The outstanding candidates will enter the cross-country training section in July and those qualified trainees will represent Zhengzhou Nissan to compete in the race. Besides, Zhengzhou Nissan has also invited many auto sports experts at home and broad as cross-country consultants to help racers get fully prepared.
