Entering Nissan Global Basic Skills Competition Again, Zhengzhou Nissan Won the First Medal

Good news came from the site of the 7th Nissan Global Basic Skills Competition that 3 of the 8 players selected by Zhengzhou Nissan had entered the first 5 ranks, respectively winning as the third medalist of final assembly basic skills and the fifth medalist of painting and logistics.

Since its establishment in 2005, Nissan Global Basic Skills Competition has been successfully held for seven times. The 7th competition had 15 posts and 18 subjects, including 296 players from 11 countries around the world. According to requirements of the competition, Zhengzhou Nissan selected 25 seeded players from 4132 players through layers of public intracompany selection, and after intensive training finally 8 players stood out to compete in the 8 subjects of Nissan Global basic Skills Competition representing Zhengzhou Nissan.

From the first competition in 2011 to the second in 2013, Zhengzhou Nissan has fulfilled the zero breakthrough in medal and has achieved great improvement in overall skills comparing with the first competition. Winning medals was surely no accident, the “Production technology games” in the production systems has been successively held for ten years in Zhongmou Factory of Zhengzhou Nissan, and a series measures have been taken in the three years of Zhongmou reform, such as carrying out the construction of the pyramid “talent education fund” of the factory, these have laid a solid foundation for the continuous improvement and inheritance of the skills of the workers at the production line.

At the ceremony after the competition, the players said that they had not only broadened their vision on daily training methods and modes in this competition, but also had felt deeply that having a winning hand in a competition only relied on steady basic skills and good psychological quality.

Gao Mucheng, the deputy general manager of Zhengzhou Nissan Automobiles Co., Ltd, said that he hoped that an upsurge of learning skills throughout the company could be raised again by this Nissan global skills competition, so as to improve the skilled personnel’s overall technology and level and finally promote the production level, work efficiency and product quality.
