2000 years ago, Zhang Qian's diplomatic mission to Xiyu (the Western Regions) connecting the East Asia and the Mediterranean for the first time, and open the Silk Way. Today, hundreds of racing cars and server cars will go along this way, across the grassland, mountain and the sand dunes, starting from the Moscow's red square, across Russia, Kazakhstan and China, all the way to the east! This is the Silk Way Rally, which will be coming on July 9, 2016!

Professional event
The Silk Way Rally began in 2009, and became one of the most important international rallies. It not only gets full support from the passing through countries, but also technical support from RAF, FAMS, FASC and FIA. Its high standard and challenge for the limit of environment attracted the attention of world leading heavyweight racer.
The Russian prime minister Medvedev have attended the start ceremony many times.
A new adventure
On July 9, the Silk Way Rally will be return! From Moscow's red square, after 15 event stages, 10000 km event mileage, crossing the Astana in Kazakhstan , finally arrived in Beijing, the event will last for 15 days.
Russia's vast grasslands and open wilderness have high request for high speed driving and accurate navigation; Kazakhstan's yellow sand all over the sky and diverse stone terrain will test the performance of the vehicle and driver handling skills; China’s gobi, desert and grassland will bring new experience to the driver. The cross-country events have a new starting point, new journey, but competition, adventure and challenge the limit is still a constant theme!

In the Cross-country rally fields, 2016 silk way rally has unique status. Here is permeated with relaxed atmosphere and friendly exchanges; but since the race begin, drastic contend immediately spreads, challenges make it worthy of the first event. The race since announced regression last year, cross-country rally racers jump for joy, and gathered rapidly.
